Quick Guide: Activate Your Zero1 eSIM
Note for port-in numbers
The port-in process may take up to 3 business days to complete. If you activate the eSIM before the port-in process is finished, you may see an error message on your device. However, the eSIM will still be installed, and you will be able to use it once the signal from your previous carrier disconnects, confirming the port-in is successful.
Stay connected: Wi-Fi required for eSIM setup
Ensure your device is connected to Wi-Fi, as an internet connection is required for eSIM setup.
How to set up your eSIM on your phone
The activation process varies according to your devices. Choose your device:
For Apple iPhones
Method 1: Using the QR code
- Open your eSIM activation email on another device.
- Go to “Settings” and select “Mobile Data” (“Mobile” or “Cellular” in other versions)
- Select “Mobile Data Options“
- Select “Add eSIM“
- Select “Use QR Code” and scan the QR code in your eSIM activation email.
- Select “Continue” when “Activate eSIM” pops up
- Follow the on-screen instructions to complete the eSIM set up. Your eSIM will activate as soon as it connects to the network.






Method 2: Manual installation
- Obtain the SM-DP+ Address and Activation Code from your eSIM activation email.
- Open Settings > Mobile Data > Add eSIM.
- Select Enter Details Manually and input the activation details.
Note: If you complete the eSIM set up steps before the port-in process is complete, you may see an error message on your device. However, the eSIM will still be installed, and you will be able to use it once the signal from your previous carrier is disconnects.
For Android phones
Method 1: Using the QR code
- Open your eSIM activation email on another device.
- Go to “Settings” and select “Connections” (“Network & Internet” in other models)
- Select “SIM manager” (“SIMs” in other models)
- Select “Add eSIM” (“Add mobile plan” or “Download a new SIM” in other models)
- Select “Scan QR code from service provider” (“Add using QR Code” in other models ) and scan the QR code in your eSIM activation email.
- Follow the on-screen instructions to complete the eSIM set up. Your eSIM will activate as soon as it connects to the network.



Method 2: Manual installation
- Obtain the SM-DP+ Address and Activation Code from your eSIM activation email.
- Open Settings > Connections (or Network & Internet) > SIM Manager (or Mobile Network).
- Select Add eSIM, then select Enter Activation Code to input the provided activation details.
Note: If you complete the eSIM set up steps before the port-in process is complete, you may see an error message on your device. However, the eSIM will still be installed, and you will be able to use it once the signal from your previous carrier is disconnects.
Test & set up your eSIM
- Test connectivity: Check your data, calls, and SMS functionality to confirm the eSIM is active. Adjust settings under Mobile Data as required.
- Set default line: For Dual SIM functionality, go to Settings > Mobile Data to set the default line for calls, texts, and data usage.
Troubleshooting eSIM issues
1. Didn’t receive activation email?
If the email isn’t in your inbox or spam folder, you can:
- Launch the Zero1 app and select the “SIM Activation” icon to retrieve your eSIM activation details.
- Visit the eSIM retrieval page through this link: https://zero1.sg/activation/esim.
- Contact Zero1 Customer Service at activation_sim@zero1.sg for further assistance.

3. QR code isn’t working after multiple attempts?
You have 3 free attempts to set up your eSIM. Please contact Zero1 Customer Service for a replacement. A fee may apply.

2. How do I activate my eSIM for a new mobile number?
After completing your payment, you will receive an email with your eSIM activation details. Follow the instructions in the email to set up your eSIM and start enjoying Zero1’s services.
3. How do I activate my eSIM for a port-in number?
After completing payment, you will receive an email with your eSIM activation details. Zero1 will then begin the port-in process, which may take up to 3 business days. Once your previous carrier’s signal disconnects, follow the instructions in the mentioned email to set up your eSIM and start using Zero1’s services.
4. Can I use my eSIM on a new device?
If you want to use your eSIM on a new device, ensure that your new device supports eSIM technology. Next, deactivate the eSIM on your old device. This step can usually be done in the device’s settings under the mobile or SIM management section.
Finally, scan the QR code from your original eSIM activation email. Note that the number of eSIM set up attempts is limited to 3 times. Please contact the Zero1 Customer Service for a replacement. A fee may apply.
